Terms of Use

These Terms of Use supplement the Terms and Conditions and set out acceptable and unacceptable uses of the Colorium Lab mobile application (the “App”). If a conflict exists, the Terms and Conditions control.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the App for:

• Color analysis and device calibration for research, education, prototyping, and non‑medical applications.
• Capturing and analyzing images you have a right to use.
• Generating and sharing reports at your discretion.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, or deceptive purposes.
• Upload or analyze content you do not have the right to process or share.
• Attempt to bypass security, App Check, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract datasets from the App to create a substantially similar product without permission.
• Interfere with network operations, abuse third‑party APIs (e.g., excessive automated calls), or disrupt other users.
• Misrepresent App outputs as certified laboratory or clinical results.

3. Permissions and Data Handling

• Camera and Photo Library permissions are required to capture or select images for analysis. Denying these permissions limits functionality.
• The App processes images on-device. By default, images are not uploaded to our servers. If you choose to share or export content, you control where it goes.
• Diagnostic and performance data (analytics, crash reports) may be collected to improve reliability and user experience. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Safety and Professional Use

The App is not a medical device and is not a substitute for certified instruments or professional judgment. Do not use the App for clinical decisions, patient care, or in hazardous situations where life, health, or critical systems may be at risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (other than your own content) are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited license to use the App as described in the Terms and Conditions.

6. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms of Use or the Terms and Conditions, or where required by law.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Effective date” and, where appropriate, in‑app notices.
